Depravity review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 17 September 2010 07:32 (A review of Depravity)

Fantastic ear crushing breakdowns, eerie guitars and killer melodic riffs. This is one crazy album! I highly recommend it to anyone that likes metalcore.
Key tracks include MALEVOLENCE, HOLOCAUSTS and DEVOURER.
Lyrics deal with Christianity, faith, struggles with your inner-self and the world, corruption and past events.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 17 September 2010 07:27 (A review of Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

The first time I watched it, when I was 11 years old, I had to leave the room crying from laughing so hard. To this day I crack up at the ridiculousness of this movie. Sure it's not the best acting or comedic lines, but that's what makes it great. One of the best spoof movies to start a revolution of them years to come. Servants carrying coconuts and banging them together to imitate horses? Brilliant I say!
This is definitely geared toward the teenage male audience, still thousands of people love this film. It is personally my favorite movie along with L.O.T.R trilogy.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 17 September 2010 04:41 (A review of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire )

The Last Harry Potter book I've read which was about 3 or 4 years ago. I don't know why I stopped reading them, but I really enjoyed Rowling's detail, crazy mind blowing stories and dialouge. Although cliche, A must read for those who enjoy fantasy.

Teasing Secrets from the Dead: My Investigations at America's Most Infamous Crime Scenes review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 17 September 2010 04:38 (A review of Teasing Secrets from the Dead: My Investigations at America's Most Infamous Crime Scenes)

One of the most unique books out there. It's about Forensic Emily Craig. This book deals with the origin of her beginnings as a forensic scientist and how it jump started a new wave of solving crime. She also tells great stories in vivid kind of gross detail. Such as the Waco case, few years back. Conducting forensics and intriguing facts about the decaying process are explained. It's insane!
One of the best books, that will give you an astounding view on life and..you'll learn some secrets from the dead..OH SNAP! hahahaa

The Holy Bible: King James Version review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 17 September 2010 04:09 (A review of The Holy Bible: King James Version)

My life manual, The word of God. Fantastic poetry, insane stories, full of prophecies and facts. There is not much else to say. If you don't find it life changing, then I don't know which parts you are reading of the 66 books. Sure here and there some parts might "bore" someone, but there's so much more to that. You really have to read in between some of the lines for some of the chapters.
Genesis stands out in the Old testament deals with the creation of the earth, Adam and Eve, the fall of man, genealogies and The Flood.
The Proverbs and Psalms are the most poetic and awe-inspiring, heartfelt, insane pieces of literature ever assembled.
The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are really crucial in understanding how important and significant Jesus is to so many people. It's where you will finds His death and Resurrection, which are crucial for knowing about Salvation, without that Jesus was just a crazy good prophet.
The other insane book would be Revelations. I'd pay anybody to know all the detail in that book, it's so amazingly cryptic, yet insightful of the HORROR and Judgement there is to come for those "not written in the Book of Life".
Although many seem to find these collection of books to be violent and crazy, it shows SO MUCH LOVE that God has for us. The only book everyone should and needs to read :p

Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government review

Oh Glenn Beck...what can say other than he's one of the most with-it-crazy people out there. Filled with facts and diagrams, each time you read the book, there's something new to read and discover

A Fresh Piece of Ass: Diary of a Groper review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 17 September 2010 03:25 (A review of A Fresh Piece of Ass: Diary of a Groper)

Bill O'Reilly intrigues me. On his show he can bug the crap out of me, he doesn't let people talk.. yet his books I rather enjoy.
This book mainly deals with his background, childhood and "religious" upbringing as he puts it. As a young boy we see that he was a trouble maker at his Catholic school with some of his "buds". We begin to see his transformation into his teenage and college years. He becomes rather annoyed with the "hippies" who interrupt him trying to attend his college classes at Marist college.
We find that as he grows up, he seems to have little knowledge on who God is. He fits the Catholic stereotype of "go to church on Easter and Christmas" type catholic, very well. Which is unfortunate in my view. He even says that they didn't read the Bible much and always "praying" to Mary, it's saddening to me.
What I mainly like is Bill's humor, although sometimes ridiculous, it never gets old. It's an enjoyable read, I would recommend it to others.
