CAFFINE wll..KILL YA'!

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 6 November 2010 03:39 (A review of Batman Forever)

--Sure this film in no way compares to the supreme-ness of "Batman Begins and The Dark Knight", however this film is hilariously entertaining.

--Val Kilmer is usually excellent, but not a great Batman..it's rather funny. He's entertaining to watch, when he yells "Harvey!..I'm BATMAN!" I almost peed my pants at the ridiculousness of it.

--Jim Carey, Tommy Lee Jones and the guy who plays Alfred, make the film funny and good. I was rather fond of the Riddler/Two-Face combo, I don't see how one could hate it! Alfred is dope, not as good as Mike Caine, but up there. Nicole Kidman is quite beautiful in this film, but the acting is "meh".

Dislikes: Chris O'Donnell! He's horrid and very gay..perfect for Robin I GUESS, but they could have done a mucchhh better job. Drew Barrymore was annoying as well.

Spiritual and Filled With Wonder

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 5 November 2010 06:06 (A review of The Lovely Bones)

--I remember seeing lots of trailers on t.v. for the film, never saw it in the theater, yet I was determined to see it. Peter Jackson does a Phenomenal job directing this wonder. I honestly thought I was going to hate this and yea..proved me wrong.

--I'll admit I teared up during this film, it's obvious as to why and I won't give anything away. CGI wasn't great and rather some was dumb..however, it was necessary to portray what Susan was experiencing and some of it was quite exceptional and lovely. I bet while reading the book, your imagination goes through the roof. Saoirse Ronan was..well...reeeally good. Like definitely deserved the Oscar nominee. She's going to have a GRAND future. Stanley Tucci was of course perfect for the role, I got frustrated at his character(as we all should), but that's how excellent he was. An overall superb cast. The whole concept of the film is astounding and everything ties in, with plenty of scenes involving reminiscing. Wahlberg and Weisz are great also! OOOO and Sarandon brings in some humor which I enjoyed.

Also I bet if you were high, you'd freak out.

Dislikes: CGI, some even most of it was fake looking and lame. It was important to the romance, imagination and wonder to the film tho. the length could have been cut down a tad.

Chevy and Aykroyd..can't go wrong.

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 4 November 2010 06:28 (A review of Spies Like Us)

I was in the mood for an older comedy and I haven't seen this film before. With a cast of Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd..what could go wrong? The plot is decent and kind of predictable, but it's a fun movie with some great laughs and funny situations. There's even a "special" cameo by someone who's quite the man!

Dislikes: Little bit longer than it needed to be, for the type of film..some parts were supposed to be funny but failed to succeed.

Narnia, I'm Impressed..

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 4 November 2010 05:37 (A review of The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Two-Disc Collector's Edition))

I bought this really cheap on Amazon, New, for 5 bucks and it's retail is like 30$! Sweet deal! Any way, this dvd is near perfect for the CONarnia fan. It's got over 10 hours of bonus material, which includes the "making" of and outtakes. There's even 2 postcard?-picture type things..it's dope. I'm really glad I bought it.

Dislikes: None whatsoever..

Mr. Tumnus Pig Squeals I bet.

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 3 November 2010 04:55 (A review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)

Having read the first 3 books, I was skeptical when I learned that these movies were being made. Was I disappointed? Not by any means. It's marvelous. Sure the books are better, but once again I'm not a douche and complain about crap left out etc. The cast was quite great. Edmund was supposed to be annoying, the girl that played Lucy was mature and great at such a young age. Anna Poppelwell as Susan is an interesting and beautiful choice. Liam Neeson is the perfect voice for Aslan, made up for the "decent" cgi. OOO! Mr. Tumnus was portrayed well, although a little too creepy..just a tad ahaha.

Dislikes: The whole beaver thing could have been better and they made Aslan cheesier than He should be.

--Overall it's a magical wondrous tale with plenty of Christian'Faith based elements and analogies. C.S. Lewis was an amazing dude. I look forward to the other films now..glad I bought the 2 disc dvd of this.

Jumpy-ness GALORE

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 3 November 2010 05:37 (A review of Paranormal Activity 2)

You would need to see the first film to watch this sequel for some of the plot and mainly so you don't go "uh..what?". I found this film to be scary enough to make me jump a lot. Anything that seems realistic, scares me. Sure those Halloween series and slasher films are supposed to "scare" you..let's be serious they're ridiculous and very predictable. I wasn't expecting any plot for this film and I'm glad there was. I jumped and jumped in anticipation and it gave me spooks!

Dislikes: Took like 20 min for it to get interesting, other than that a great scary film to go see.

Gotta poop em all!

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 2 November 2010 05:59 (A review of Pokemon: 2.B.A. Master)

I give this an 8 mostly for Nostalgia and the fact that they're catchy, cheesy, HILARIOUS and Pokemon was the bomb doods, don't deny that you loved it haha I sure did. Surprisingly there's some complex solos I know right? It's just a fun, hysterical album to look back on

Transformers do do da do do

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 2 November 2010 04:57 (A review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)

I don't know why, but I love the movie. Sure the plot is predictable and it's not a "brilliant" movie, but it's just fun and really entertaining to me. Shia Labeouf is humorous and his yelling, which is reminiscent of his "Even Stevens" role..An enjoyable dude, you hate him or love him. Megan Fox although a bad actress is right for her role, is hilarious and.. beauteous. I enjoy the cheesy lines and funny dialogue.

Dislikes: The quick camera shots, sometimes it's too quick to see what the poop just happened. The stupid twin robots were the worst part, so gay.

An enjoyable movie, ignore MGN FX and deal with it haha. The CGI isn't terrible either.

MSOL Emily Blunt is Great!

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 31 October 2010 03:06 (A review of My Summer of Love)

--With my beliefs on "same-sex" relationships aside. This story was quite interesting and well done. Emily Blunt is fantastic, as expected and it was overall a pretty good film

I thought it was funny and bizarre that this girl would miss her brother that stole, did robberies and beat up people..seriously? He's even more loving as a brother now. But then he shows signs of his violent past and it's a shame to se, considering he's a supposed Christian trying to share love to his sister and others around him. The girl has issues and is irrational. The whole "God is dead" thing is utterly ridiculous and typical of modern people my age..it's rather sad.

Dislikes:Some cursing and scenes were unnecessary.
--It's interesting and worth watching.

Chilly What The Poop Just Happened?!

Posted : 13 years, 5 months ago on 31 October 2010 01:52 (A review of Wind Chill)

--Emily Blunt is one of my top actresses and I adore her. Looking through her movies I stumbled upon Wind Chill and decided to buy it cheap and give it a whirl. Going into the film I didn't look up reviews or ratings, so I watched with an open mind.

--Blunt's performance was quite great and does a fine job as a "scream queen" so to speak. The basic premise, without giving crap away, is that Emily's character hooks up with a fellow college go-er to go visit her family during Christmas. The guy she gets a ride with seems..well..a bit strange and the rest you have to see.

--I enjoyed this movie a lot. Watching the making of showed that there was a lot of thought and effort put into this film. More than you think. It's a very bizarre film that people should see.

Dislikes: The beginning could have picked up just a tad quicker.
